Cruise services
In order to guarantee the implementation of international security regulations and to control Portofino cruise traffic, Marina di Portofino has a PFPS – Port Facility Security Plan – in compliance with SOLAS 74 –Chapter XI-2 and
ISPS Code “International Ships and Port Facilities Security Code”, approved by Genoa Port Authorities Maritime Compartment Admiral Inspector Vincenzo Melone –Decree n° 135/2015.
Inside the Harbour, there are: (1) 25 m ferry boat pier, (2) floating pontoons (12 m each) naturally conformed for ships tenders reception, (1) quay divided into 2 sides for more ship tenders.
Portofino is not a docking port. The current anchorage area is a rectangular area of 0.5 miles by 1 mile area at 60 to 85 meters deep and is set at 0.3 nm from shore.
Cruise ships drop anchor and use their tenders to take passengers ashore. From the tender boat station, it is just a few minutes walking to the center and the landmarks of the town.
CRUISE FEES 2018
Effective from January 1, 2018, due to a mandatory revision of the Portofino PFSP (IMO n° IT-PTF 0001) for the Security Level 1 which by national law requires the hiring of an additional private and specially trained Security Guard (GpG) in every Italian port for the all duration of the ship stay in that particular port, we will introduce new ISPS cruise fees (unchanged since 2011).
CALL
Minimum invoice: € 500,00/call (to be applied on a pax list with less than 100)
Passengers: € 5,00/pax (minimum invoice 100 pax/call)
PFSO SECURITY SERVICE
€ 40,00/hour /call per extra time from 6 pm to 12 pm;
€ 60,00/hour/call per extra time from 12 pm to 8 am with prior notification.
GPG SECURITY SERVICE
€ 300,00/call from 8 am to 6 pm;
€ 40,00/hour/call per extra time from 6 pm to 12 pm;
€ 60,00/hour/call per extra time from 12 pm to 8 am with prior notification.
GPG SERVICE CANCELLATION POLICY
There is no charge in case of service cancellation within 6 pm on the day before the scheduled eta.
Given the mandatory use of GPG service performed by Prefectorial permissions company, as per their cancellation policies, if the reconfirmed call will be cancelled later than 6 pm on the day before the scheduled eta, the full amount of € 300.00 will be charged.
